Hello everyone!

I’m trying to help my girlfriend put her Padme arena costume together, and we are struggling with the belt accessories and boots.

Could anyone point me in the right direction for her for someone who makes these or could help?

Any help would be very gratefully received!

Thank you!!

Someone did them back at the time but not answering anymore. I did mine with worbla and leather that I mold myself.

I gotta second the worbla and leather suggestions. They mold wonderfully. Just be careful of worbla down here in Florida. It may warp during the hot summer months if she's not careful!

A few ladies used empty shampoo bottles and then molded the Worbla/leather to it.

Moshi used to sell them but unfortunately, he doesn't make them anymore. Good luck!

Well, I might help.
Maybe you have seen on the Facebook page of the RLGS a new recurrent category "3D model of the month" ? (I still need to post it here on the forums).
https://www.facebook.com/RLGalacticSenate/posts/1995517330685740

I was thinking I could maybe do those pouches in 3D model as part of December's 3D model of the month. Then you would just have to find a base mate with a printer, print it, finish it (sandpaper a lot) and paint it ?
Let me know if interested Wink

Not sure however I can help for the boots, we would need to discuss about that. Is it supposed to be something like a hard shell ? or something soft ?

Semi hard, like thick leather.

So not the best to 3D print, except maybe is in flexible filament which would be super complicated on such a shape (to print) and need to be cover with a thin leather like material. :s

Yeah I tried sending him a message but never even got a reply. I don’t know if he’s even still around...

Does anybody have a set of his pouches that they would be willing to sell??

Haven't started the pouches yet. Was waiting to see your interest. Plus, I first need to find good reference pictures, and if possible so measurements Wink So if you have any I take for the modeling !

Depending on if the 3D printing works and how small your girlfriend is, some people have used the rubies belt for kids. Just added expanding foam into the pouches to give them more stiffness! That's my plan, but again it is a smaller belt so I'm not sure how well it'll work for others.

Good luck with it either way and I hope you find an easy way to get these!
