Comments: This event is the annual state conference for the Virginia Society Children of the American Revolution. VSCAR is part of the National Society Children of the American Revolution, a community organization that trains children to be good citizens and leaders and to respect our flag and country's history. Our theme this year is "History Awakens," based upon the last movie. In our organization, kids "age out" at 22, and we call moving from being a "member" to becoming a "senior leader" (adult) moving to the dark side. We would love to have members of the 501st Legion escort our senior state president in at the beginning of the morning session of our state conference. We would want the troopers to stay for the beginning of the meeting and take a few pictures.
