Posting from DRG:
It's that time again to get prepared for our appearance at the Twinkle Light Parade!

Kick-off the holiday season with Albuquerque's biggest holiday parade, the Twinkle Light Parade, taking place on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 5:15 p.m in Historic Nob Hill. It is a spectacular family-friendly holiday event featuring dozens of floats, marching bands, equestrian clubs, fire trucks, car clubs, and businesses. Wrap up the evening with Mr. and Mrs. Claus! This unforgettable parade is sure to dazzle audiences of all ages.

This is an unofficial event so we encourage everyone to come decked out in Santa Hats, antlers, bells, lights, Christmas colors, and holiday festive attire. This is open to all 501st, Rebel Legion, Mandos, handlers, and Galactic Academy members. We will be meeting at the Highland Pool , between 2-3 PM and will suit up in the parking lot. We have not received our entry number yet, but should know by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
A few reminders :
-Safety is our #1 priority. All children must be well lit, supervised at all times, and cannot be in the back of our group
-Everyone in the parade must wear lights, front and back (no exceptions)
-There is only one Santa allowed in the parade and he will be at the very end, so we are not allowed to have anyone dressed in the traditional Santa garb, however, Santa hats are allowed
-We are able to bring candy and hand it out to the crowd, however, throwing candy is not permitted.
-Battery operated lights can be found at Walmart, Target, Hobby Lobby as well as online at Amazon, Glowcity.Com, and lightgod.com
-Lightsabers=Yes, Blasters=No

Alright, we are Entry #81!

Do glow-band type lights count? As in chemical activated light.

I think so as long as you have enough to be visible like lights. You can double check with Sean if you are really unsure about it.
