Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I have a quick question about my Luke ROTJ costume, and more specifically, the lightsaber.

So I'm currently building a Luke ROTJ costume to apply with, and with it, I'm working on an ultra-accurate V2 saber. It's coming along great, and the history of the saber is amazing.

Considering the accuracy of my V2, and the fact that it's used for 90% of the movie, is it able to be used for a Rebel Legion ROTJ costume, or does it specifically have to be the Hero saber?

Thank you and MTFBWY!

we had a thread about this a few years ago,
it was determined by the LMO at the time that both versions would work for luke ROTJ.

I'm not sure what "today's" judges are doing on this issue,
but they ALWAYS follow the "make-it-like-the-photo" rule. Wink

especially for face characters -- if you can "make it like the photos" then you're good-to-go.

---> reference photos to convince the judges can be found here:

if you are making an "ultra-accurate" V2 , then you should have NO PROBLEM matching the photos

Wink

cheers!

Thank you very much! I'm certainly trying to make it as accurate as possible! I have a stencil incoming from my friend Jerry, who runs HighGroundSaberWorks on Etsy. He claims its more accurate than Trooper Trent's stencil, and they certainly look like it! I'm glad my work isn't going to waste, and I can't thank you enough for your help! MTFBWY!

Yeah, yeah, just show it's a match and you're fine. Wink Well, if they rest is also a match, that is. Razz
