I don't see it, but then the picture is really blurry and not a great quality, so details are impossible to tell.

I'm still hoping this will turn up in a exhibition in the new year (without weird lighting on it, thanks).

Here's hoping.

Guess we'll have to wait until March/April when the Blu-Ray is released.

In the meantime, I've got to finish making an Endor Trooper costume for a friend, and putting the finishing touches to my Stormtrooper, then I'm going to start on the shirt and tunic for this.

Re the cloak/cape, does anyone have any insight into the fabric? It has a horizontal pattern seemingly, a bit like black knit?

The biggest problem is black-on-black at a distance. Though, I definitely see that the "cape" is actually a robe/duster/jacket.

Yep, not a cape. It has sleeves. Smile

And I really do dislike having to look at details in black on black. Tried that with Maul once... so glad I didn't have to make that costume.

Ok, just got back from taking my sons to see the movie, and Luke's tunic DEFINITELY has the fold-over front.

It is most clearly visible in the shot when the dust settles and Luke pretends to flick dust from his shoulder.

Once that Blu-ray comes out and we can get high res on this, it will be awesome. Very Happy
At least there's a good image of the boots. Anyone managed to find them?

I think it would be best to approach this outfit for Luke as a clean, almost new version.
By that I mean he projected himself as he looked while he was teaching at his temple, much like how the Jedi looked in The Phantom Menace, clean cut, like they haven't had to live in exile or get dirty. So the flashback Luke would be just a little dirty but mostly clean. Kinda how no matter how hard you scrub down an old soldier, they still look a little dirty type look.
That's my interpretation from what I saw and gathered and actually how I think I'm going to approach my flashback or Master Skywalker cosplay.
