My first post here is a helmet decoration question...

I know I've read a couple of threads about keeping any helmet decoration to within or looking like it's from within the SW universe. But what about what you might write in Aurebesh. If I put my "user name" Foxxwoof (which I use everywhere on the internet, and Fox is my middle name) in Aurebesh on my helmet is that disqualifying since "Fox" is an RL animal.

I know that there is a Commander Fox in the Clone Wars, who's commander of the Coruscant Guard. Anyway. Haven't started painting my helmet yet, but his is what I'm leaning toward doing. The design is not set in stone, and may change a bit yet. The scale of that type will probably shrink a bit and/or possibly move to just one side of my bucket.

Helmet design's are pretty flexible as long as they fit in "SW Universe". No English language on them, but if something is in aurabesh that should be fine. Stay clear of profanity as well.

Yeah, I wouldn't do something like curse. Just like the idea of my name on the helmet just as a way to make it even more personal.

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, using "wolf" or something similar would be fine, as long as it's in Aurebesh, Huttese or another Star Wars language. And yeah, no curse words, as was already mentioned. I do usually check and translate the writing on helmets, FYI. Wink

Ooooh. What a great idea. I'm still in the planning stages for my pilot (I swear I'll do it eventually!) and "wabbit" in Aurebesh would rock!

Gil- is that a water slide decal? Is that something that can be printed off?

It was done as a regular frosted clear postal label on a laser printer for me by the previous DCO. I just stuck it on, the ones on the outside are clear-coated.

Just finished my first build. I think I went a tad heavy on the weathering, but I'm very happy with how it turned out overall.
