1. Will you be the contact person for our volunteers on the day of the event? If not, Name and phone number please. YES
2. May we bring a non-costume handler(s) and a photographer to attend the event with our costumed volunteers? Handlers provide an extra eye set of eyes, (watching out for tripping hazards, etc.) and the photographer provides content for our base's website/social media sites. YES
3. Is there a SECURE location (e.g. classroom, storage room, office, enclosed tent) where our volunteers can change into their costumes and store their costume totes/bins/clothes? No bathrooms, please. Can you please elaborate on what type of accommodations you will be providing? YES. We have an office with a door and a storage closet that can be used. Personal items can be kept in our locked work space.
4. Can you please provide some information about any parking concerns that might arise? Will there be a special area for our volunteers to park? Are passes needed? No passes needed. Plenty of parking in the area around the library.
5. Will you be able to provide Water and/or light snacks for our volunteers during their breaks (if event is over two hours)? Yes
6. (FOR CONVENTIONS ONLY) - will you provide our group a table to promote our club and work we do? What are the Table’s dimensions? How many chairs come with the table? If you wish, we can set up a table in the lobby for the group to speak with people. It’s about 5 ft and can fit two chairs per side.

Event Description: Crafts, stories, games, and a chance to meet and take photos with characters from the Star Wars universe. We have a weekly family storytime and thought it would be fun to hold a Star Wars themed event around the time of the release of the new movie.

How Did You Hear About Us: I used to work at the JFK Library and we held several Star Wars Reads events in which the 501st and some Rebel Legion members participated. Always fun!
