Going to be starting a CW build for Anakin and I had few questions before i start this build

1. Is a seam allowed on the lower outer tunic panels. If not, im not sure how to make such a panel so any guidence would be appreciated.

2. Is there a specific fabric type that is preferred? and if so any links would be greatly appreciated.

3 I have an existing Generic Clone General tunic pattern i was going to use and modify to achieve his look, but is there a better existing patterns somewhere.

Any other tips are greatly appreciated.
