Hi, if the light from a FX lightsaber is broken at the middel of the blade, is it possible to buy a new blade without the hilt? If so, wich is more expansive a new lightsber or a new blade? Thanks!

the only way to fix it is to remove the old blade; install a bright LED in the hilt (so it shines out like a flashlight);
and then use an 'empty' blade to catch the light from your "flashlight" hilt.

they call this "converting" the saber.. from a stock force-FX , to a single-LED in the hilt.

it's usually cheaper to buy a new force-FX -- but there are advantages to the 'conversion' -- you can remove the blade and hang the hilt on your belt.

which lightsaber do you have? (character/episode)?

Thanks for the respond!
I have a 2010 Darth Vader Hasbro Fx lighstaber with removeble blade. So I already have the advantage to hang the hilt on my belt.

Is a single LED in the hilt + 'empty' blade more expansive than a new Fx lightsaber? Do you have any suggestions where I can buy those?

Thanks!

post your questions on this site.
any of the manufacturers under the 'saber guild' section can help you with this.

if you're looking for parts, so you can do the conversion yourself,
then check out this site.
