There are a set of British belt pouches that I can't recall the name of. They're typically worn in pairs on the back of the belt.

Which pouches do you mean? I first thought you meant the British 58 kidney pouches but you already mentioned those in the standard.

There was also a Type B2 (Corporal Tonc) that wore a open-back vest instead of an M69 style flak vest.

There are at least three Scarif Marine that wear a Gorka jacket with a flak vest. One wore an M1 helmet and two wore a google cap.

There was at least on Scarif Marine with a Gorka jacket and donut helmet.

The Scarif marine on the front-left has a Cassian Andor style jacket and open-back vest.

The Scarif Marine on the left is a Type A with a donut helmet.

I actually just found a TYPE A trooper with a brown vest, blue pants, and blue tunic. So change the note on color to:

TYPE A
Note on color: Tunic, vest, and pants should not all be the same color.

TYPE B
Note on color: Jacket, vest, and pants should not all be the same color.

I have not found that Type A Scarif Marine yet but I still looking for more variations. Smile

I agree with the sentences about the color. It is always a mix of colors but sometimes two or three clothing items have the same color but never all of them at once. There is always at least one item that has a different color.

There is one Scarif Marine that wears different shades of brown but he is the closest they get to wearing one color.

SM on the left side.

SM on the right side.

SM on the left side.

Dead SM in the middle of the pit.

The Marine I'm referring to is in the background on Yavin 4 when Cassian and Jyn first board the U-Wing.

After discussion with Terran, this is an update for boots with the idea to slowly phase out Swiss gaiters.

BOOTS
- The boot is made of 3 separate but attached elements: shoe, spat, and cuff
- Shoe is brown or black chelsea boot or other slip-on boot with slightly raised heel. Suede is acceptable.
- No visible buttons, laces, straps or closures. Zipper on the inside of leg is acceptable.
- Cuffs wraps around entire leg and ends on outside of leg pointing back
- Cuffs should not come up excessively high. Estimate 4-6 inches based on proportions of the wearer. Should not reach the bottom of the calf muscle.
- Right side has two loops of the same cuff material holding accurate cylinder greeblies
- Cuff may or may not have loop on tab at top of cuff (example Corporal Rostok)
- Spat is attached to top and sides of foot.
Jedi costumes often require shoe covering and alterations, so check with your local base if someone can help you with these.

I think we should add that if a Trooper wishes, altering the Swiss gaiters to match the proper look would be acceptable. Something along the lines of removing the buckles and straps, reducing the height by 1/2' - 1" and applying the cuff. (perhaps turning the gaiters inside out- there are some really interesting textures and colors that way)

We need to discuss how much of the visible stitching would be required.

What do you mean? A photo reference would help clear this up.

I can understand that you want to phase out the regular Swiss gaiters and I am ok with a an altered version but we should leave out the visible stitching. That is nitpicky. If someone is close enough to see if the gaiters have stitching or not they are way too close and should better back off. I think if it looks good from 20 feet aways then that should be good enough.

I know I'm nitpicky here, but on StarWars.com these guys are listed as "Rebel Pathfinders", so are we sure "Rebel Marine" is the correct name for this costume?
Especially since they are not only seen on Scarif, but before that on Wobani as well.

Patricia; I am inclined to agree. The stitching is a *bonus*, but to do it well on a piece like this would require specialized sewing/equipment that not everyone will have access to. That or an immense amount of extremely laborious hand-stitching.
