Hello Tami,

I will respond using my Ewok, Cheti, as an example. There are different ways to fabricate Ewok eyes, hands and feet. We have several Ewok makers in The Hive and I encourage them to chime in on this topic.

1. The eyes on my Ewok costume were made from pastic ornament balls, because they are completely smooth. You can paint them or stretch tinted auto film on the inside to create realistic eyes. They were glued to a plastic, child's mask. The mask has an elastic band on the back. I was able to pad out the head with foam under the hood.

2. My Ewok hands are latex creature hands, covered with friendly fur. They are Halloween monster hands that were modified to have three fingers. The feet are modified sneakers, with sculpted toes glued to the front. Friendly fur is glued to the surface of the sneaker, so the soles are not visible from the side.

Chirpa's Ewok Army on FB is an excellent resource for Ewok fabrication. https://www.facebook.com/groups/163607194235714/
