Those with Gorka tops, what have you found is the best way to weather it other than rolling in the mud? I saw some say hot wash and dry to dull up the color some. Anything else??

I have found that spray paint usually does a good job, and then after it dries for a few hours put it in the dryer, to set it. Paint is about the only thing that wont wash out. I did use black and brown shoe polish on the M1 helmet cover.

It is extremely easy. Wash it in cold water. DON'T DRY IT IN A MACHINE! If you do you will be able to give it to your kids. Hang dry only. After it dries try it on and wear it for a while. It will shrink but not much. It will stretch back out. You may need to wash it again. Twice was good for me. Others have washed it more.

Happy Trooping

The best way to weather it is to wash it a few times and set it out in the sun. Mother nature will bleach it better than anything we can do, and the chest will be covered up by the grenade vest anyway.
