Hello there
i'm starting my Bariss Offee Costume, movie version, and if you could help me with some questions it would be awesome.
i saw this pattern on spoon flower, would it be approved?

i'm having a hard time finding the right fabric for the cloak.
and in here (portugal) it's really hard to find special fabrics.
Does anyone have a pattern for the cloak? it would help a lot.
My sister is going to make it for me, as well the belt, she designed the buckle in 3D and got it printed, she's going to paint it too.
The fabric for the skirt and shirt is quite easy to get and to do them.
i'm going to post here my progress..

Very best of luck with it. That pattern for the hooded cloak is fine, be sure and choose a viable material that matches the thickness used in the films.
We don't have a physical pattern but have made several of these robes if LadyB or I can help.

if you would send some pics of the yoke and colar, that would be great so my sister try to see how to do it

If I remember right it is a thick velvet with the pattern brunt in like Padme's powder blue outfit in Episode 2 as well.

i also found the perfect fabric for the shirt, just have to order it

i also found this fabric for the cloak but i don't know if it would be approvable..
it's cheaper than the spoonflower printed fabric =/

how much yards should i buy? just guessing =/ |
LadyB says a yard for the hood, the rest depends on how tall you are and if you're lining it or the material is thick enough to not need to be.
She says to measure from the base of the neck to where you want the cape to hang and multiply that by 4 (if lined) to get the additional yardage (+1 for the hood).

Thank you, still have to figure out what kind of fabric i will be buying.
if it's thick enough i won't be lining it (probably)

Though none are too close the last one would probably work best.
The construction of the first (too flowery) is good, but better if it was less flowery like you said.

so my sister finished the buckle, it's 3d printed and hand painted,
although it looks black it has 2 different shades of dark brown, i will take some photos in the daylight with the belt.
