This page is a listing of the minimum requirements for specific Rebel Legion costumes. Although this list is extensive, it is meant to cover the more common costumes and is not meant to be a complete list of all possible costumes that may be admitted by the Rebel Legion. If your costume is not listed here, you should consult the Legion Membership Officer (LMO) to see if it will be admissable. Changes or additions to this list may be submitted here. For easier reference, the master list has been broken down by character.

NOTE: The costume standards are a guide, yet are not an all inclusive outline of required elements. The judges will be looking for quality of workmanship, accurate execution and use of materials in addition to these general standards check lists. If you have a question about fabrics, colors, and parts choices for your build please contact the LCJs for your category about parts/materials you are considering before you start your build. Imperial Knight Costume Standard

From Wookiepedia: The Imperial Knights, formally the Knights of the Empire, were an order of Force-practitioners loyal to the Emperor of the Fel Empire. They were fully trained in the ways of the Force and rejected the dark side of the Force, unlike previous Imperial Force-based organizations.

Required Items:

1. Full black leather or leather-like tailored (i.e., not baggy) body suit consisting of a tunic and pants with the following details:
a. Tunic body should be constructed with four vertically oriented panels on the front and back, and have a high collar where the closure of the collar is not visible. The side panels appear to be narrower than the center front panels. The long sleeves of the tunic are quilted or ribbed.
b. Pants should be quilted/ribbed.
c. The quilting spacing approximately one inch wide.
d. A Darth Vader tunic (that is typically completely quilted/ribbed) and pants or a one-piece Darth Vader jumpsuit is permitted.

2. Black leather or leather-like tabards.
a. Total number of tabards: eight (four in the front and four in the back). The center tabards (on the front and back) are longer than the side tabards.
b. Tabards may be sewn to a tunic OR may be worn like a skirt (and as a separate component). In either case, the seam is hidden under the armor/belt.

3. Gloves – black leather or leather-like.

4. Three layer leather/leather-like brown belt and Imperial issue buckle.
Female IK costume belt should come to a point below buckle as shown
in series.

5. Boots. Leather or leather-like, dark “chocolate” brown or black, extending to just below the knee and have a rounded toe.
a. Boots may have buckles or be plain, but should be free of other ornamentation or design.
b. Obi-wan Kenobi (ATOC) style boots are permitted if they are the proper color.
c. Completely plain and unadorned boots are permitted and preferred.

6. Rich chocolate brown cape.

7. Armor – Red glossy formed armor fit to the wearer, sculpted as plates of armor as illustrated in the series to include the following:
All armor parts should be accurate, using the Legacy Vol. 1 and 2 as guides for design and assembly.
a. Left and right Red Hand Armor (separate from bracers).
b. Left and right Red Bracers and molded red straps.
c. Red Loin plate.
d. Red Abdomen plate – covers abdomen completely meeting uppermost belt line.
e. Red Chest plate – aligned with wearer’s chest.
f. Red Back plate.
g. Red cape cap plate.
h. Left and right bottom (against the body) Shoulder armor (under bells).
i. Left and right top Shoulder armor over bells.

Armor Assembly:
a. The Chest plate should connect to the Back plate without gaps.
b. The Abdomen plate should connect to the Chest plate without gaps.

The armor color should be non-metallic, glossy, bright red similar to the Crimson Guard in Return of the Jedi.

8. Accurate Imperial Knight lightsaber and white blade.

Optional:

1. Brown leather/leather-like belt pouches
2. Lightsaber hook on left front hip.

All parts (back plate, etc.) should be shown in submission photos.
