This page is a listing of the minimum requirements for specific Rebel Legion costumes. Although this list is extensive, it is meant to cover the more common costumes and is not meant to be a complete list of all possible costumes that may be admitted by the Rebel Legion. If your costume is not listed here, you should consult the Legion Membership Officer (LMO) to see if it will be admissable. Changes or additions to this list may be submitted here. For easier reference, the master list has been broken down by character.
NOTE: The costume standards are a guide, yet are not an all inclusive outline of required elements. The judges will be looking for quality of workmanship, accurate execution and use of materials in addition to these general standards check lists. Admiral Ackbar
Required Items:
- Reddish-brown Ackbar mask
- Reddish-brown Ackbar hands
- White jumpsuit (or shirt and pants) with yellow stripe on each side
- Plain white shoes
- Cream-colored vest with round collar
- Rank insignia
- Cream-colored belt with boxes/pouches

General Crix Madine
Required Items:
- Black Boots
- Tan slacks
- Light blue long sleeved collared shirt (a US Air Force dress shirt is perfect)
- Tan overtunic with pocketed sleeves
- Black or dark brown gauntlets
- Brown belt with octagonal belt buckle
Required for Formal:
- Rank badge and collar insignia

Mon Mothma (Episode VI: Return of the Jedi)
Required Items:
- 1. Ivory or cream colored tunic made from a soft, natural fabric, with a jewel-neck collar and wide, loose fitting sleeves. The length of the tunic must be at or just below the knee. The fabric should be heavy enough, or be lined, so that the under dress does not show through.
Sleeves should be knuckle length before being pulled up to just above the wrist with a large sleeve fold that is tacked down.
2. Deep brown under dress, made from a soft, natural fabric such as jersey, with a full gathered skirt. The sleeves must be tight fitting and gathered at the wrists. A skirt and shirt is also acceptable.
3. A necklace consisting of two dull gray twisted cords, with a round, silver pendant, detailed as it appears in the movie, suspended from two smaller, twisted cords in the center. The necklace should be attached at each shoulder and end with the gray cord wrapped around a small, domed object, such as a button, with single strand of the large gray cord around the back of the collar.
4. Flat or low heeled (1" or less) brown shoes or boots. No visible laces, buckles, or zippers, no spike heels.
5. Appropriately-styled hair shorn above the collar; naturally-occurring hair colors only.

Captain Antilles (Episode IV: A New Hope)/
Rebel Fleet Officer
Required Items:
- Accurate khaki/tan jacket with brown shoulders (yoke) and four pockets in front
- Dark brown shirt with bib in front
- Khaki/tan pants with solid dark brown or black stripe on side of each leg
- Brown belt with oval buckle
- Accurate Rebel Fleet Trooper helmet
- Brown tall boots (14-16 inch shaft), riding boots recommended

General Riekeen/ Echo Base Commanders
Required Items:
- Gray Hoth style gaitered boots.
- Tan pants, no distinguising marks and no visible pockets.
- Light tan jacket with high standing and batted collar, quilted yoke in a darker tan. Two breast pockets with red or rust colored piping and tab closure. Mid-thigh in length (possibly quilted like that of a Hoth Trench Trooper). Velcro closure all the way down the front. Two large cargo pockets below the waist. Belt loop on each side and two in the back.
- Tan overtunic with pocketed sleeves.
- light gray with a darker gray gauntlet with comlink.
- Medium brown belt with octagonal buckle.
Required for Formal:
- Rank badge, 5 red discs on metal.
Option for Generic Officers:
- Hoth Hat with goggles and ear communicator
- Rank badge, appropriate discs on metal
