I'm interested in also doing this version of duchess satine's rose outfit as way of starting over,to start trooping again at some point However (delimma though I don't have any kind of sewing skills,if i was able to commsion a costume for the duches my budjet is tight I would have
to stay udner $100) wouldnt even know what fabrics to pick out in the first place

To be honest I think you'd have a hard time commissioning any costume at that price. Materials alone would probably be at least that unless you find some really good deals. Then factor in the time needed to make what is a somewhat complicated costume and it just becomes unrealistic.
Now, if you could sew or have someone who can help you out so you can make it yourself (with help) then keeping it on a tight budget is reasonable. Smile But you'd need to hunt for good deals, which might take time and going to a lot of different stores.

Satine has many lovely costumes and if you find the right materials cheaply and have a good friend helping you I think keeping the price down is realistic. Fabric store sales/leftover tables can have true treasures, so start looking, maybe take a couple of reference pictures with you when doing so. Trift stores can also be a good source for cheap fabric or pieces of clothing that can be cannibalized if you need smaller amounts of a particular fabric. Smile

But definitely recommend doing a lot of research and looking, and finding an ally to help you out. Best of luck!

Thank you for the input,I do know some freinds that can do basic hand sewing,(none of them know how to use a sewing machine) they could help with cutting out patterns and such
