The Yellow Door (a fund of the North Valley Community Foundation) hosts the 6th Annual Chico Walks for Autism. This event includes a 3 mile walk, with live entertainment after, as well as sensory play areas for kids (and those of us adults who like our sensory breaks too). This event has vendors from the local community as well as music and Elks Lodge BBQ.

Event location: Bidwell Park - One Mile Chico CA 95928

Event date: Saturday, April 1st, 2017

Arrival time: 8AM
Start time: 8:30 AM
End time: 12PM

Parking: Parking is available on the streets surrounding the park. There is a parking lot off of E 7th St and Linden St, but parking is ok on any of the surrounding streets.

No blaters but lightsabers are ok.

Since this event takes place in the park, changing will be at your vehicle or before you arrive at the event.

Water will be provided to all who attend. It shouldn't be real hot since the walk takes place at the start of April and the route of the walk through the park provides plenty of shade. Allergies might be a concern, so if you suffer from spring allergies like me, make sure you take your Allegra, Claritin-D or whatever allergy meds you usually take.

If anyone has any questions please PM me.
Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.
